Many Windsong Cottages are available for rent. This will describe the units available for rent by the individual owners. All units are uniquely finished and vary in size from 1,200 to 2,000 square feet. Some cottages feature two-bedroom two-bath, and some are three-bedroom three-bath. All cottages have access to the swimming pool, sauna, and fire pit. All cabins overlook Lake Superior and are non-smoking, no pets allowed. Limit of six guests per unit.

Windsong Cottages enjoy a prime location on Minnesota's breath-taking north shore, 53 miles north of Duluth and 50 miles south of Grand Marais, Minnesota. You will be in close proximity to world-class hiking trails, biking lanes, cross-country ski paths, snowshoeing trails and downhill ski areas. Duluth, Grand Marais, Lutsen, Ely, and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) are all within easy driving distance and all are destinations in themselves.

Directions from the Twin Cities: Take 35W north through Duluth, exit and turn right onto Highway 61 North (exit 259). From there, it is an approximately 45-minute drive north. Turn right onto Maloney Drive (after mile marker 52).

Unit 616:

This lodging getaway includes a master suite with king size bed overlooking Lake Superior. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and bath, double hide-a-bed in living room, fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, dishware, cooking and eating utensils. There is a deck outside the living room, washer/dryer on first floor, beautiful gas fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo sound, bedding & towels, and central heat & air conditioning. An indoor pool, sauna, and an outdoor fire pit are all situated nearby for your convenience.

Minimum of two days stay for holiday periods. There is a 15% discount for stays of four nights or more except Christmas week and holiday periods. Sales tax of 6.5% must be charged, but unlike most resorts, no resort fee is charged and there is no city lodging tax. Deposite of one night's rent is required; refundable with notice at least 14 days in advance of first reserved night.

This beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath Windsong cottage sits right on dramatic Lake Superior. The townhome is very spacious with gorgeous, rustic furnishings, a large dining room, a vaulted ceiling two-story living room, a stone gas fireplace, a fully furnished kitchen with Cambria countertops, deluxe pine cabinetry and doors, forced-air heating and central air conditioning, double hide-a-bed in living room, a whirlpool tub and king size bed in the master suite overlooking Lake Superior, and washer/dryer on the first floor. An indoor pool, sauna, and an outdoor fire pit are all situated nearby for your convenience.

This three bedroom, three bathroom townhouse has 1,800 square feet of living space and a Lake Superior View with room to sleep 6-8 people. The unit features wood burning fire place, stainless steel appliances and two decks with a view of the lake. Each bedroom has its own television and the living room includes a flat screen and DVD player.
